Venues we love to video - Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire..

Following our fascinating perspective on our favourite Cotswold’s wedding venues to video, back by popular demand, our next tantalising tête à tête in our wedding venues mini-series focuses on the western Home Counties locations of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire; more specifically the captivating Coworth Park in Ascot, Berkshire, the herculean HMS Warrior docked in Portsmouth, Hampshire, the heavenly Hedsor House which sits on the Berkshire and Buckinghamshire borders, the cracking Clock Barn based in Whitchurch, Hampshire and the decadent Dorney Court located in Windsor, Berkshire. All spectacular venues for weddings and wedding videography.

Any of the above wedding venues would fit the bill perfectly when it comes to pairing your chosen wedding location with your wedding videography ideals; whether you opt for a sprawling country estate such as Coworth Park or Hedsor House or something completely unique, such as the awe-inspiring HMS Warrior, a traditional barn style wedding venue such as Clock Barn with its distinctive thatched clock tower or an extraordinary Tudor Manor House, steeped in history like Dorney Court, the wedding videography possibilities are endless.

At Coworth Park, set in 240 acres of idyllic parkland, you and your wedding guests would feel completely at one with the countryside; at Jumping Spider Films we love that this wedding venue embraces all things quintessentially English and can’t get the dream of creating a Great Gatsby / Henley Regatta riverside style wedding video out of our heads!  A breath-taking backdrop to your wedding ceremony and celebration; lime groves and sunken gardens set a sublime scene and not forgetting those most serene of wedding guests, Coworth Park’s own family of swans!

Still not having quite got messing about on the river out of our systems, how about horsing around on the HMS Warrior!!  A truly unique wedding venue which offers a blend of romance, style and individuality that will make your day as memorable as it is special; it’s not quite the Titanic but that wouldn’t stop us from capturing any bride and groom willing to emulate a little Leo and Kate; a spectacular, seafaring venue, perfect for a maritime marriage and a titanic wedding video.

Hedsor House is another gorgeous countryside wedding venue in Buckinghamshire, where we are itching to set up our wedding video kit and get the cameras rolling; whether it's for a civil wedding ceremony, wedding blessing or a wedding reception, you’ll be in royally good company here as Hedsor House was once a former residence of Augusta, Princess of Wales.  We especially love filming wedding videos at such exclusive use wedding venues as the additional privacy and relaxed atmosphere really enhances the experience for both wedding party and guests alike, which is something that really translates well on screen, meaning your completely personal, beautifully bespoke wedding video really will be the best it can be.

Clock Barn in its own words is ‘an impressive rustic barn and one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Hampshire’ and their website photo gallery is confirmation enough for us!  Again a wedding venue where ceremony and celebration can be enjoyed in one location, Clock Barn offers the sort of relaxed charm that can be accentuated with all the shabby-chic touches your vintage heart desires.  If Jumping Spider Films don’t get to shoot a wedding video in their Great Room, strewn with bunting, or a just married couple, tiptoeing through their bluebell woods, well then, we’ll just sulk and sulk and sulk!

And last but by no means least, Dorney Court, with its fairy tale gabled roofs and charming 12th century on-site church is as elegant as it is timeless.  An imposing Tudor Manor House set in landscaped gardens and lush parklands, it has to be the first choice for any undecided bride and groom looking for a truly magical setting.  Here we’d love to capture all the rustic charm of the outdoor yurt-like marquees and the picnic barn interiors, these romantic little details that we are determined to feature in your wedding video, meaning all of those special touches can be remembered forever.

So again that’s your lot, the Jumping Spider Films’ wedding videography low down on some of the most gorgeously unique Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire wedding venues, where you or someone you might know is looking to get married; then, naturally, is looking to have a beautifully bespoke wedding video, designed, filmed and produced by us – clever, creative and unique wedding videographers – who work as hard as you do to make your wedding experience truly one of a kind.
