Debbie + Chris - A Wedding in the Cotswolds
Chris and Debbie's wedding took place at the Great Tythe Barn in the Cotswolds. The sun well and truly shone on their wedding day, and the day itself was full of fun.
A crew of 3 Jumping Spiders filmed pretty much the whole day from Debbie getting ready at Calcot Manor, also in the Cotswolds, and Chris and the groomsmen getting a wet shave up until the rather tasty hog roast in the late evening. It was a great day and the barn was a lovely spacious venue for us to film in. Debbie was shy in front of the camera so it was up to us to be at our most discrete and Matt spent most of the time filming Debbie's bride preparation with a zoom lens from the top of the stairs in her room.
For us the day ran smoothly, which isn't always the case. Again working alongside Louise Bowles photography and Jessie Thompson wedding planner made our life so much easier. They are both great professionals and just as importantly great to work with at weddings. The team at the Great Tythe Barn were also always on hand to help when we needed it.
Chris and Debbie are both country folk at heart, so nature was always going to play a big part on their wedding day. We made sure we shot a great deal of the surrounding location to really build up the countryside feel to the wedding video. Having 3 of us film also enabled us to get some great angles when the owl delivered the ring to the best man, which had to be one of our standout moments of 2012.
As you can see from our comments page, Debbie and Chris were delighted with their wedding film and of course our service as wedding videographers. When it comes to being both discreet and still being bale to capture those special moments we really believe that at Jumping Spider we are one of the best wedding videographers in the business.
