Homme House Wedding Video in Gloucestershire | Jem + Wally
A touching country house modern wedding video, filmed by Jumping Spider Films at the stunning St. Bartholomew’s Church and the sprawling grounds at Homme House; a peaceful retreat, set in rural Much Marcle, on the Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire borders.
I can imagine that whenever a bride and groom come together to choose their wedding date, it’s always a bit of a gamble; those that wish for gorgeous summer sunshine, sometimes get pouring rain and those who hope for a blanket of crisp, white snow, sometimes end up with a sorry, grey slush. Quite honestly, it doesn’t truly matter; my own sorry, grey slush was one of the most beautiful mornings I have ever woken up to and actually, some rainy summer weddings can often be the best for some really interesting photography and beautifuly shot wedding videography alike. Sometimes however, a bride and groom, truly get the best wedding weather they could have wished for and Jem and Wally must have been wishing hard, as the beautifully, bright Spring sunshine, shone bright and beautifully on their St. Bartholomew’s and Homme House, big wedding day in Gloucestershire.
Why go on about the weather you might ask? Well, even though the jumping spider wedding videography team always have their beady-eyed, keenly-trained cameras poised and prepared - with their reflexes on point and techniques at the ready - when the sun does come out, we set our lenses accordingly, adjust our fully insured, highest quality, HD, full colour video equipment and we’re able to start shooting some truly beautiful wedding videography.
Take Jem and Wally’s wedding highlights reel for example; their gorgeous Homme House wedding, shot in the hazy Spring sunshine meant we could open their wedding highlights reel with some lovely black and white vignettes, followed by some wonderful, watercolour-esque soft focus frames, before our aerial videography team piloted our 4k wedding drones (who do love a nice, sunny, dry day by the way) and captured some stunning aerial location images.
And (now that you’ve watched Jem and Wally’s wedding video highlights reel, of course) weren’t those not the most gorgeous images for our Jumping Spider Films wedding video cameras to have captured… a happy couple, kissing under a bridal veil caught billowing in the gentle spring breeze, a perfectly manicured, wedding-ringed(!) hand passing through a canary yellow, wild-flower meadow and a statement staircase, dressed top to toe in beautiful bouquets, before sweeping to meet a stunning wedding cake.
Everywhere you looked, the stunning Homme House, a country house wedding venue set on the Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire borders, provided the most beautiful backdrop for each detail we cared to aim our wedding videography cameras at. From the early morning bridal preparation, where hairdressers and make up artists buzzed around the beautiful bride, to beaming bridesmaids in soft pink, floral cocktail gowns and perfectly pitched page boys delivering the most precious of personal, parish poems.
Filming this wedding video at the stunning St. Bartholomew’s Church, situated on the far grounds of the Homme House estate and then the celebrations within the main buildings was a real joy for the senses; if only our quality wedding videography equipment picked up more than just stunning visuals and crisp audio, as the heady scent of a wedding ceremony and reception drenched in the aroma of all its flowers, truly accentuated the late spring, early summer ambience. From the brides’ wildflower bouquet to white, wrought iron birdcages filled with all manor of meadow-flower fauna, the palette of pale pinks and gentle pastels, all worked wonderfully well in showing us just how a traditional, country house, garden styled wedding could be done.
