NonSuch Mansion, Surrey wedding video | Dionne + Anthony

Dionne & Anthony's wedding at NonSuch Mansion in Surrey was great fun to be involved in. It was a day was full of life, fun and plenty of shape-throwing. The day began with the filming of Dionne and Anthony getting ready at the Hilton Hotel in Croydon. After I'd shot some footage of Dionne I headed off to find Anthony only to find him deep in panic having misplaced his speech. Needless to say he wasn't too keen on being filmed at this moment, so I left him and his best men frantically rifling through bags and pockets and headed off to the wedding ceremony.

Being from South East London and having been out and about in Croydon a few times I was aware what the traffic can be like in the area, so I left the Hilton with plenty of time before the ceremony began. I was right to. It took 45 minutes to go about 2 miles.  The good news is that Dionne and Anthony also left with plenty of time and all arrived on time for the wedding ceremony.  The catholic ceremony, as it usually is, was long but as we had discussed with Dionne and Anthony beforehand they specifically asked for most of the ceremony to be included in the final wedding video. Of course we obliged so we decided the best way to film this ceremony, as is often the case, on tripods.

Once the ceremony had finished it was a short drive to NonSuch Mansion just down the road. This was our first wedding at NonSuch; the interior was gorgeous I especially liked the flow of the rooms and the separate area for the wedding breakfast.  To be honest I don't think we got to see the real beauty of the park because the weather was pretty bad.

There were some great moments during the reception. The confetti walk was one, and the steel drum band and spontaneous dance routines were another. The speeches were also funny and entertaining, and although for us filming it was impossible to get a really nice shot of the speaker (the room was very crowded) we captured all of the speeches without any problems.

The final wedding video was longer than our average as Dionne and Anthony requested a longer cut. Of course this is never a problem. As always the type and length of wedding video is something we discuss with our couples before the day. For us every wedding video is different and being able to create a bespoke wedding video package that suits our couples is essential.

I hope you enjoy you the highlights film,

Matt
